Quvianaqtuk only recently became artistically active at the Kinngait studios, and was included in the Annual Cape Dorset Printmaking Collection for the first time in 2017. His prints have been included in the collections every year since then as well, and already several of his print editions have sold out. This is a testament to the quality and beauty of his work.
His drawings show a keen attention to detail and understanding of animal forms and behaviors, much like his predecessors and fellow hunters, Tim Pitsiulak and Kananginak Pootoogook, in whose accomplished footsteps he travels, although his drawing style and technique is all his own.
